Range of 10km on single mode fiber. Range of 550m on multimode fiber (without the need for a mode conditioning patch cable).

Conversion Gigabit miniGBIC module in Small-Form-Pluggable (SFP) form factor. Standard 1000Base-LX, IEEE82.3z.
Duplex LC connector, for single-mode fibers.

Extends/converts ports of switches and converters with a miniGBIC (SFP) slot. E.g. for GSW-2400, FGSW-4840S, SGSW-2620, WGT/GT-705A, ENW-9607M.
