Universal home access point with passive PoE support and RouterOS.
MikroTik hAP is a compact network device designed for homes and small offices where you need reliable wireless access and several wired connections. It is based on the proven RB951-2n model and brings improvements in many areas. The device features dual-chain 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with support for 802.11b/g/n standards and a maximum speed of 300 Mbps.
The access point is equipped with a 650 MHz single-core QCA9531 processor and 64 MB of RAM, which ensures sufficient performance for home use. The device offers 5 Ethernet ports 10/100 and supports passive PoE on both input and output. Power supply is possible from the included adapter or from a PoE injector in the range of 6–30 V.
Passive PoE and flexible power supply
The device supports passive PoE on both input and output. Port Ether5 can power other PoE devices with the same voltage that is supplied to the input, with a maximum load of 500 mA. Power supply is possible from the DC jack or via passive PoE in the range of 10–28 V.
RouterOS and advanced features
The access point runs on RouterOS operating system with level 4 license, which offers advanced configuration options, routing, firewall, and other network functions. The system is pre-configured for immediate use – just connect the internet cable and power supply.
Wireless features
The integrated Wi-Fi uses the QCA9531 chip with dual-chain configuration and an omnidirectional antenna with a gain of 1.5 dBi. The transmit power reaches up to 22 dBm at 1 Mbps and receive sensitivity up to -96 dBm, which ensures reliable coverage.
