Umožňuje až 1024 současně připojených ONU a HGU zařízení, což poskytuje vysoce efektivní řešení a pohodlnou správu širokopásmové sítě z optických vláken.
GPL-8000 poskytuje šířku pásma až 2,5 Gbps pro downstream a 1,25 Gbps pro upstream, pokrytí na vzdálenost až 20 km a flexibilitu pro nasazení v síti. Jedná se o cenově efektivní přístupovou technologii, která je ideální pro aplikace jako HDTV, IPTV, VoIP a multimédia.
Zařízení je ideálním řešením pro aplikace FTTx. Nabízí funkce VLAN, dynamické přidělování šířky pásma (DBA), SLA a ACL. Protokol GPON umožňuje sdílení Gigabit Ethernetu více koncovým uživatelům pomocí pasivního optického splitteru.
Jednotka je vybavena jedním 100-240 V AC zdrojem, který lze snadno vyjmout a vyměnit. Navíc je k dispozici druhý slot pro napájení, do kterého lze přidat jak AC, tak DC napájení. Redundantní napájecí systém je speciálně navržen tak, aby vyhověl požadavkům high-tech zařízení.
