The UniFi Building Bridge XG is a cutting-edge solution for wireless building-to-building connectivity at distances up to 500 m. It utilizes a primary 60GHz radio with maximum speeds up to 6 Gb/s and a backup 5GHz radio (Wi-Fi 5) with speeds of 866.6 Mb/s to ensure uninterrupted connectivity even in challenging conditions. The bridge features a 10G SFP+ port for maximum performance and a gigabit RJ-45 port for management.
Robust construction from aluminum alloy and UV-resistant polycarbonate with IPX6 rating ensures reliable operation in temperature ranges from -40 to +55 °C. The device is certified to military standards for wind resistance up to 200 km/h. Management is centralized through UniFi Console or self-hosted UniFi Network Server with management options via Ethernet and Bluetooth.
Advanced Radio Technologies
The 60 GHz radio operates in the unlicensed 57–66 GHz band with Terragraph certification support. The backup 5 GHz radio supports U-NII-1, U-NII-2A, U-NII-2C, and U-NII-3 bands (5150–5850 MHz) with 20/40/80 MHz channel widths. The Bluetooth radio (2400–2483.5 MHz) with 2 dBi gain enables wireless management.
Centralized UniFi Management
The device is managed through UniFi Console, Official UniFi Hosting, or self-hosted UniFi Network Server. Management is available via Ethernet and Bluetooth. RGB LED indicator provides visual system status information. Factory reset is available via physical button.
