Advanced MPPT charge controller of the IT-NC G3 series for medium to large solar systems with 50 A charging current and support for 12/24/48 V voltage systems.
The solar charge controller offers top-tier MPPT tracking efficiency of 99.5% and maximum conversion efficiency of 98.3% for optimal energy utilization from photovoltaic panels. It supports maximum open circuit voltage of 200 V at lowest temperature and 180 V at 25 °C, allowing connection of more panels in series.
The controller is equipped with a robust die-cast metal housing with IP43 protection rating including white terminal cover for protection against dust and moisture. The construction ensures reliable operation in temperature range of -25 °C to +60 °C with automatic power derating above 40 °C.
Communication and monitoring
The controller features an RS-485 communication port with 5 V DC/200 mA power supply (RJ-45) for connecting optional Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or 4G modules. The CAN interface enables parallel operation of up to 6 devices with or without batteries. BMS communication ensures reliable charge and discharge management of EPEVER lithium batteries; for others, a BMS-LINK module is required.
Performance parameters
At full load, the controller achieves 97.1% efficiency with temperature compensation of -3 mV/°C/2 V. Self-consumption is 98 mA/12 V, 60 mA/24 V, 46 mA/48 V with communication enabled, or 48 mA/12 V, 25 mA/24 V, 14 mA/48 V with communication disabled.
Installation and connection
The controller has dimensions of 307 × 253 × 143 mm with cover or 307 × 202 × 134 mm without cover. Mounting dimensions are 295 × 130 mm with 7 mm diameter holes. Recommended cable cross-section is 6 AWG/16 mm2 with weight of 5.07 kg including cover or 4.86 kg without cover.
