UniFi Dream Router 5G Max represents an "all-in-one" console combining 5G connectivity (up to 3.4 Gb/s) with an advanced Wi-Fi 7 router and full support for UniFi OS applications. The device offers complete network infrastructure with integrated 10G SFP+ slot, four 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports including one with PoE output, and a 4.7" touchscreen display for easy management.
The router supports 30+ managed UniFi devices and 300+ simultaneously connected users. The integrated 5G modem with support for dual SIM (2× nano SIM or nano SIM + eSIM) allows use as primary WAN or backup connection. With IDS/IPS throughput of 2.3 Gb/s and advanced security features, it provides comprehensive network protection.
5G Connectivity and Multi-WAN
The integrated 5G modem supports a wide spectrum of frequency bands including n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n13, n14, n18, n20, n25, n26, n28, n29, n30, n38, n40, n41, n48, n66, n70, n71, n75, n76, n77, n78, and n79. The device can be configured with up to four WAN ports for primary connection, failover, or load balancing.
Wi-Fi 7
Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 offers speeds up to 5.7 Gb/s on 6GHz band, 4.3 Gb/s on 5GHz, and 688 Mb/s on 2.4GHz. Each band supports 2×2 MU-MIMO with antenna gain of 8 dBi (6 GHz), 5 dBi (5 GHz), and 4 dBi (2.4 GHz). Coverage reaches up to 160 m².
UniFi Applications and Management
The router runs on full-featured UniFi OS with support for Network, Protect (management of up to 5× HD, 2× 2K, or 1× 4K cameras), Access (access control), Talk (VoIP telephony), and Connect applications. Integrated RADIUS server with RadSec support ensures advanced authentication.
Security and VPN
Comprehensive security includes stateful firewall, L7 application-focused firewall, DPI traffic identification, zone-based firewall, content filtering, and ad blocking. VPN server supports WireGuard (8 Gb/s), OpenVPN (8 Gb/s), and Site Magic (20 Gb/s) for site-to-site tunnels.
